Are you our new service technician?

Due to the growth of our company, we are looking for a service technician to repair malfunctions in our ATMs. This is a day shift job.

Job description service technician & installation

As a service company, we are responsible for the uninterrupted operation of ATMs by means of adequately resolving defects, performing expert installation, and proper maintenance on site. All business activities are aimed at having ATMs work optimally, so that our clients are able to guarantee functionality. As a service technician, you perform work on an ATM. You will first receive internal training after which you can analyse and resolve malfunctions, disassemble and install complete systems, and upgrade software and hardware. You will also take care of periodic maintenance to the ATMs and visit customers who are having problems or malfunctions. You then resolve these on site. It is an independent job, but it may also occur that you install ATMs together with a colleague. You operate independently within the service team. You report to the immediate supervisor, the team leader, regarding the work you perform. We expect you to have a result-oriented attitude. You should also be able to plan well and have an independent and flexible work attitude. You must also have good communication skills and be customer-oriented.

Job requirements

• An MBO-level education in the field of engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics 
• 1 to 3 years of experience with repair work 
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in spoken and written form 
• The ability to provide correct written feedback to the internal staff 
• A valid driving license (B) 
• A service technician who does not mind traveling within the Netherlands 
• A service technician who does not mind working a weekend or emergency shift once per month. The working days, in day shifts, are Mondays through Fridays.

• Salary indication: Depending on the level of education and experience, we offer a salary between € 2,000 – € 2,500 gross per month based on full-time employment. There is a compensation for overtime and working the additional stand-by shifts.

Location

Location Amsterdam. This means you primarily work in and around Amsterdam, but the service area is the whole of the Netherlands.
